Mountain Club Real Estate

Established in 1925, Mountain Club was first known as the Hassayampa Mountain Club. It covers 800 acres of forest and is only about two miles from the center of Prescott. The area was intended to be a resort area for Phoenix residents looking to escape the summer heat. The Great Depression changed that, and the Mountain Club lots were sold, but weren't built upon until better times.

The Mountain Club has been reported to be the first subdivision in Arizona to include recreation facilities with real estate ownership. The last remaining amenity at Mountain Club is the historic Mountain Club Clubhouse.

Mountain Club Arizona Homes

The main attractions of the Mountain Club are the picturesque mountain roads and the stands of Ponderosa Pine. The homes are often quaint and rustic, a quiet charm that reminds us of simpler times. Often, the Mountain Club homes are remodeled and upgraded, preserving the country charm while improving the systems and comfort of the home. It is always a pleasure to visit the Mountain Club, and I would enjoy giving you a tour of the area.
